It was love at first sight. A charmingly quirky 120 year old building,
in a little hamlet with an old mill, a theatre, two waterfalls, a pond and a river.
Two growers of organic heirloom veggies within walking distance, a farm raising cattle, Black River
cheese factory, oh, and Long Dog, one of the best wineries in the County, just down the road. Where else could
we find anything like this!
We work hard to rise to the occasion, cooking small scale, sourcing locally and
letting our menu reflect the changing seasons. Last year we won one
of the coveted Taste Awards. This year we were named tourism/hospitality business of the year. Reading words like "charming", "unique", "hidden gem",
"will recommend" and most of all "will be back" in our guest book make us proud and happy.
We believe we have the most intimate, romantic restaurant around.
We invite you to come and see for yourselves!
